Avid experimenter and creator of various forms of media, learning by doing and repeating.
Main interests include:
- Photography – Knowledge and understanding of photography terminology and an eye for photographic composition of landscape and event based photography. Affinity Photo and Affinity are used to adjust and apply filters where necessary.
- Music Production and Composition – Experience with FL Studio/FL Mobile and Magix Music Maker with knowledge of the use of various VSTs.
- Experimental Design – Affinity Designer and Affinity are used to create my designs starting with custom made templates and extended them using additional elements.
- Amateur Meteorology – Knowledge and understanding of how weather models and ensembles work with a personal ability to predict weather conditions and report my finding if the situation indicates severity.
- Statistics and Analytics – Preference for accurate information and data means I feel a need to find it. It plays a heavy part in ensuring accuracy when sharing information based on my interests and politics.
- Web Design and Administration – Knowledge and experience of the terminology of this topic. From sorting out a tld or other types of domain name to webhosting using nameservers, installing web applications and understanding their use (for example: WordPress) to the theming and administration of those web applications.
- Experimental Programming – Some experience with html5, php, css and javascript.
- Spreadsheets – Using Microsoft 365 and LibreOffice.
- Databases – Using an Android application by the name of “Binders”.
